In 2004, builder Buck Jacobs and his wife Jenn, built their first home, marking the beginning of Tamarack Construction. First starting out in the industry, Buck co-owned a roofing company where he gained more knowledge of the trade. In 2016 and 2018, Buck received the “Builder of the Year” award from the Snake River Valley BCA. Buck served as President of the SRVBCA in 2017 and continues to be a member of the association, as well as Idaho Building Contractors Association, and National Association of Home Builders.

Buck and Jenn have 6 beautiful children together. Buck is very involved in the local Boy Scouts and enjoys being a Boy Scout Leader. He has received his education at BYU and Utah State.
